Race Analysis
10/28/10 -- Like most New Jersey districts, gerrymandering makes it difficult to describe the geographic base of this district, which stretches from Trenton in the west almost to the Jersey Shore in the East. Incumbent Rush Holt has held onto the district easily since the 2002 redistricting, but polling has shown a much closer race this time, albeit with Holt above the critical 50 percent mark.
