Race Analysis
10/28/10 -- Earl Pomeroy has served North Dakota in the House since 1992. He's had a series of close House contests, although he firmed up his margins in 2006 and 2008. This year he's been consistently below 50 percent against Rick Berg, and has trailed Berg in all but one poll. The votes for Obama's agenda are clearly hurting him. Amazingly, Berg would be the first Republican elected to represent North Dakota in the House since 1978.
